The SBTV app does not require registration or an account and does not request a name, email address, or password, nor does it create a personal profile.
Who is responsible
SBTV is the channel of Parroquia Santa Bernardita in Carolina, Puerto Rico. For any questions about this policy, write to [email protected].
What data is processed
To show the schedule, live broadcast, and announcements, the app queries our server. Those queries request public channel information, the same for everyone.
Your IP address may be processed technically for security and abuse prevention.
The app does not use advertising, advertising identifiers, or tracking across apps or websites.
Notifications
Notifications are optional. You may reject them and the app will continue to work without them. If you enable them, SBTV uses technical identifiers associated with the installation, including a notification token, solely to deliver notifications.
These identifiers do not contain a name, email address, or password, and are not used for advertising or tracking. SBTV uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications; on iPhone, Apple Push Notification service (APNs) is also involved.
You can manage your notification preferences in the app and in iOS settings.
Video served by YouTube
YouTube serves the live broadcasts and previous programs through an embedded player. When you play a video, YouTube delivers it, and Google may collect data under its own policy, just as if you opened YouTube directly. SBTV does not take part in that processing and does not receive information from it.

Links that leave the app
The app provides links to third-party services: the YouTube channel, Facebook pages, the parish website, and PayPal for offerings. When you select them, you leave SBTV, and the policies of those services then apply.
Offerings
Offerings are processed entirely by PayPal. The app only opens the link: it does not see, receive, or store any payment data, including card number, amount, or donor identity.
Children
Because the app does not request anyone's personal data, it does not request personal data from children either.
Who we share data with
Personal data is not sold. Delivering the app, notifications, and the server relies on infrastructure providers:
- Cloudflare, which participates in publishing our website and network infrastructure.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, which delivers notifications when enabled.
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs), which is involved in delivering notifications on iPhone.
- YouTube (Google), which serves video.
These providers may process technical information needed to provide their respective services. PayPal processes offerings outside SBTV.
Your rights
Because we do not keep a personal profile, there is no profile to access, correct, or delete. If you believe any information about you is in our systems, write to [email protected] and we will check.
Changes to this policy
If the app begins to process data it does not process today, this policy will be updated beforehand and the date of the change will be shown above.
